Lafayette Apple Runners,

We hope you are looking forward to the Apple Run. Below are some last reminders for the upcoming runs this weekend.

Schedule:

10/6	10AM-2PM	Packet Pickup at Fleet Feet Syracuse
10/7	7:30AM		Packet Pickup and Registration at the Apple Run Site
10/7	8:30AM		Fun Run
10/7	9:00AM		5K Walk/Run
10/7	9:15AM		15K Run
10/7    ~10:00AM	5K Awards/Raffle
10/7    ~11:00AM	15K Awards/Raffle

Please remember to allow time to get to the starting lines from the registration area. We will have buses available or you can take the walk/run to the starting lines to warm up. If walking/running to the starting lines, please allow at least 10-15 minutes to get to the 5K start and at least 15-20 minutes to get to the 15K start from the registration tent.

The best way to get to the race is by taking Tully Farms Rd. south from Rte. 20. Follow the signs and look for the Apple Run tent. 

Be prepared for the weather. We will have vans at both the 5K and 15K start lines, so you can drop any clothing, umbrellas, or other gear etc. you may need to stay comfortable before the race starts. 

Please spread the word about the details in this note to others you know that are running, as some of the emails we have are incorrect or missing.

Due to late demand, we are extending Normal registration through 10/1. This means you can still enter and order a shirt either online or via mail until that date. Online registration remains open until 10/5, but you can only register and can not pre-order a shirt.

We are extending Normal registration to 9/28. This means you can still enter and order a shirt either online or via mail until that date. Online registration remains open until 10/5, but you can only register and can not pre-order a shirt.

8-22-2012

New this year is pre-race packet pickup at Fleet Feet on 10-6-2012 between 10AM and 2PM. You can also register at day of race pricing($20) and also buy a shirt($15) while supplies last. Day of race packet pickup is still available at the race site. Please still allow time to walk or ride the bus to the start of the races which are not at the registration site.

New this year are trophies for the Master's division which will include men's and women's overall winners in both the 5K and 15K races. 

New this year is entertainment by "The Guise" (classic rock) throughout the race at the registration site.

Check out the web page(under the registration tab) on shirt sizing before 
registering and ordering shirts. 

In summary, men's shirts run true to size and women's shirts are cut tighter 
around the waist and should be ordered one size up.

The LaFayette Apple Run website will soon be active for 2012!

New this year: 1) Moved 5K and 15K race start times up
               2) Offering Men's and Women's cut shirts this year
               3) Look for tie-ins with the Empire State Marathon

Our Hospitality and Autumn colors won’t disappoint you. Hot coffee and cocoa, apples, bagels, and cider will be provided to runners. Raffles will be held for participants in each of the 5K and 15K events.

The Lafayette Apple Run offers you a spectacular autumn vista in the hills surrounding you as you run throughout our rural farm area nestled between the Towns of LaFayette and Tully, NY.
